Covering key topics such as licensing and compliance obligations, prohibited and required conduct, consumer protection laws, and the role of the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency (PHFA), this course ensures that MLOs stay informed on the latest legal and ethical standards. 2 Hour NJ SAFE CE: New Jersey Mortgage Law

Topics include compliance with the NJ Home Ownership Security Act (HOSA), advertising and fee restrictions, disciplinary actions by DOBI, and state housing initiatives. Through real-world applications, MLOs will learn to navigate legal requirements and maintain ethical, compliant mortgage practices. 

2 Hour SAFE CE: Emerging Trends In Mortgage Fraud

This course is designed to fulfill the SAFE Act requirement as a 2-hour general elective for continuing education. The course will explore the latest and most sophisticated forms of mortgage fraud. As technology continues to evolve the tactics used by fraudsters are evolving. In this course we will examine synthetic ID schemes, AI-generated document fraud, real estate investment scams, wire fraud, and crypto-based laundering. We will also discuss how the various agencies tasked with oversight and working to detect, investigate and prosecute cases of mortgage fraud.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Your webcam is required to be on for the duration of the course, and you must be physically present and visible from the shoulders up for the entirety of the course.
