This self-paced, online course provides a comprehensive overview of Maryland’s state-specific laws and regulations governing mortgage lending activities for Mortgage Loan Originators. Participants will review license maintenance and sponsorship obligations, prohibited conduct and borrower protections, disclosure and documentation requirements, foreclosure mediation procedures, and enforcement authority under Maryland law. Through real-world examples, statutory references, and compliance-focused instruction, this course equips licensees with the knowledge necessary to uphold professional standards, maintain regulatory compliance, and avoid violations within the Maryland mortgage market.
